Olympiaregion Seefeld’s reputation as one of the world’s cross-country skiing destinations is a success story ... and there is still much more to tell.

Pure bliss – to slide over the glittering snow on the spacious Seefeld plateau. Skaters and those who love the joyful classic long-distance skiing as well as beginners can choose among 245 km cross-country ski tracks. The tracks are not only in perfect shape, they offer snow reliabilty thanks to a combination of geographical location on 1,200 m altitude and snow farming for many of them. Seefeld’s competence regarding the „Nordic lifestyle“ has brought numerous international competitions to the Olympiaregion: the annual Nordic Triple Combined as well as the Nordic Ski World Championships 1985 and 2019. And furthermore Seefeld has three times (1964, 1976, 2012) played host to the Olympic Nordic Disciplines. The new complex for Biathlon – a combination of shooting and cross-country skiing – is open for amateur skiers as well. And on the Skiroll-Track (3 km) practising is possible also in summer.
